You know I am on the right career path when we do arts and crafts in class! Gotta love Occupational Therapy!
It's the time a year again. Gotta love Halloween! Let's talk about the costume first. I decided since I had the hair cut for Snow White I would be her. I went to the local halloween store and tried their snow white costume on. It was cute but sooooo cheaply made. Thin fabric and sad details. I couldnt bring myself to pay $40 for such a poorly made thing. SO I decided it was a perfect excuse to learn how to sew. And thanks to my second mom, I was able to help make this beautiful costume. I still need to learn more about sewing but I am so happy I started!!
Gotta love space ships and aliens!
I started making some things from the book Amigurumi World by Paula Rimoli. I started with the cactuses for my desk but Mrs. Cactus still doesn't have a pot. Hopefully someday soon I will be motivated to make it. Still they both live on my desk.
Next thing is my friends bday!! So I made her a cupcake!
So I just finished another crocheted bear. Today is my mom's birthday and she really liked the bear I made for my brother. It's all wrapped and waiting for her to get home from work. Hopefully I will get a picture of it up here. My next craft will not be another bear, i promise. They are just soo damn cute!
Alright so every year my grandma has a Halloween party for all the kids. I am in charge of decorating the "haunted forest." We have the usual things like a graveyard, a giant spider with webs everywhere, witches, ghosts, and skeletons. But this year I added a new display. A homemade alien space ship. I know it doesn't look too real but the kids really enjoyed it.
You make a good Snow White & look great in the outfit. Isn't a cold outfit, though? read more
